Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta holds a virtual graduation ceremony for 934 graduates from 12 faculties and Graduate school (SPs) through zoom application and live streamed from YouTube on Saturday (11/14/2020). Present in the event, Rector and Vice Rectors of UIN Jakarta, university senate head, Faculty Deans, and Director of SPs UIN Jakarta. Also present in the event, the Indonesian Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah.

Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her speech congratulates the graduates. She also advised the graduates to provide solutions for the nation during this pandemic situation.

“This pandemic situation demands that we always make a positive contribution. Therefore, UIN Jakarta always supports its graduates to play an active role in responding to this situation through various social service and research that will develop national welfare,” said Rector.

Meanewhile, the Indonesian Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah in her speech said that the current millenial generation will face various challenges in seeking employment. “You need to prepare yourself to face these challenges so you can become successful individuals and can make a positive contribution to national development,” she said.

Ida also added that the workforce profile needed in the current era has also begun to change. They are required to master technological developments and supported with adequate soft skills.

“With the knowledge that you have gained, I am optimistic that UIN Jakarta graduates will have a bright future. I also believe that all of you can become the motor of national development in the era of the digital revolution,” said Ida.

For information, 15 people are chosen as the best graduates based on their GPA (Grade Point Average), they are; Awalia Rahmi Zahara (FITK) with 3.83 of GPA, Dwina Trisna Wulandari (FAH) with 3.83 of GPA, Akal Adawiyah (FU) with 3.82 of GPA, Muhammad Riski Frimansyah (FSH) with 3.93 of GPA, Siti Masripah (FDIK) with 3.93 of GPA, Muhammad Difa El Haq (FDI) with 4.00 of GPA, Iinaas Tsamaroh  (FPSI) with 3.85 of GPA, Yunie Muliana (FEB) with  3.87 of GPA, Dinda Ratih Larasati Tsalas (FST) with 3.77of GPA, Rara Praba Andari (FIKES) with 3.73 of GPA, and Anggi Oktariana (FISIP) with 3.92 of GPA

For the faculty master’s program, they are; Rahma Deni (FITK Master’s program) with 3.95 of GPA and Heri Yulianto (FPSI Master’s program) with 4.00 of GPA. Meanwhile, for the Graduate School (SPs) of UIN Jakarta, Munawir U (SPs Master’s program) with 3.80 of GPA and Muhammad Efendi (SPs Doctoral program) with 3.86 of GPA.
