Darussalam, UIN NEWS Online– UIN Jakarta held a seminar and book launch Rector Prof. Dr. Dede Rosyada MA, Islam and Science: Integrating Efforts Islam and Science in Indonesia, in the building Nadwatul Ummah, Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, Ciamis, West Java, on Saturday (05/02). Event was attended Pesantren Darussalam Dr. KH. Fadhil Munawar Mansur, lecturers, teachers, and hundreds of students.

Books published in cooperation with Subag RM Books Publication and Documentation on reflection this is a collection of thoughts from the rector about the idea of ​​integrating Islam and Science in Indonesia. In addition to review the theoretical standpoint, the author of this book review is the idea of ​​integrating Islam and Science from the standpoint of practice.

Technically, a book published in 2016 is divided into seven sections. Noted, before writing this book, the rector wrote a number of books. Among Democratic Education Paradigm: A Model Community Involvement in School Management (2004); Public Education, Democracy, Human Rights and Civil Society (2002), and Islamic Law and Social Institution (1992).

In the launch, Rector highlighted the important role of madrassas and schools in implementing social transformation here at home and prove the toughness of his contribution. “Madrasah and Pesantren (religious dormitory) to this day has delivered many individuals of the highest integrity. Madrasah graduates can actually be said to be better than public school graduates especially in matters of religion and character, “he added.

Professor of Research Methodology of Islamic Education also advised the students and to remain confident and proud to be a child or student at madrasa in a faith-based environment.
