According to Johnny, the development of the digital technology continues to grow rapidly. “Due to the rapid pace of technological advancement, countries that harness digital technologies stand to reap significant economic benefits in the long run,” he said.
He also revealed that the Ministry of Communication and Information is currently preparing three programs. First, the Digital Literacy National Movement program aimed at the general public. This program includes basic training in digital skills. Second, the Digital Talent Scholarship program, which provides education for students and college graduates to become technician workers in the digital technology field.
“Third, we also prepare the Digital Leadership Academy program, which provides education for the public and private sectors officials, including lecturers and department heads, to improve their digital skills and capabilities,” he said.
