UIN Jakarta Opens Registration for Indonesia Bangkit Scholarship Program 2025

Rectorate Building, UIN News Online — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially opens registration for the 2025 Beasiswa Indonesia Bangkit (BIB) program, offering seven Master's and Doctoral study programs through this fully funded government scholarship scheme. Registration is open from May 2 to May 16, 2025, via the official admission portal https://spmb.uinjkt.ac.id.

This was announced by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, M.A., M.H., at the Rectorate Building on Friday (May 2, 2025). He explained that the Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Pusat Pembiayaan Pendidikan Agama dan Pendidikan Keagamaan (PUSPENMA), in collaboration with Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP), has reopened the BIB program for 2025.

“UIN Jakarta is officially among the eligible host universities for this scholarship,” Prof. Tholabi stated. “This program targets prospective Master's (S2) and Doctoral (S3) students at UIN Jakarta who wish to pursue advanced studies with full government funding.”

Available Programs
The BIB scholarship covers at least seven graduate-level programs:

  1. Faculty of Educational Sciences (FITK):
  2. Master's in Islamic Religious Education
  3. Faculty of Adab and Humanities:
  4. Master's in Arabic Language and Literature
  5. Master's in Islamic History and Culture
  6. Faculty of Ushuluddin:
  7. Master's in Comparative Religion
  8. Faculty of Sharia and Law:
  9. Master's in Sharia Economic Law

Graduate School (SPs):

  1. Master's in Islamic Studies
  2. Doctorate in Islamic Studies

Selection Timeline
All prospective applicants must follow the timeline and selection process as outlined below:

  1. Registration Period: May 2 – May 16, 2025
  2. Language Test (ETIC & TOAFL): May 19–20, 2025
  3. Academic Potential Test: May 21, 2025
  4. Faculty/Program Interview (Online): May 22, 2025
  5. Issuance of Graduation Decree and Rector’s Decree: May 23, 2025
  6. LoA Issuance by Dean/Graduate School Director: May 23, 2025

Letter of Acceptance (LoA) Process
Applicants who pass the UIN Jakarta New Student Admission (PMB) selection will be issued a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) by their respective faculty or graduate school, required for scholarship registration. The official graduation decree (SK Kelulusan) must be submitted in hard copy to the Central Academic Division, and the soft copy sent via email to:
