UIN Jakarta Faculty of Medicine and Madrasah Pembangunan Sign Partnership on Talent Scouting, Research, and Community Engagement
Ciputat, UIN Online News — The Faculty of Medicine (FK) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Madrasah Pembangunan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) held on the UIN Jakarta campus on Wednesday (12 March 2026).
The agreement was signed by Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. dr. Achmad Zaki and Director of the UIN Jakarta School Enterprise Agency, Drs. H. Teguh Sarwono, M.Si. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the vice deans of the Faculty of Medicine, members of the Madrasah Pembangunan leadership, and faculty members from both institutions.
As outlined in the official agreement, the partnership focuses on strengthening talent scouting for prospective students while expanding collaboration in research and community engagement between the two institutions within the UIN Jakarta academic ecosystem.
In his remarks, Dean Dr. Achmad Zaki expressed his appreciation for the establishment of the partnership, emphasizing its potential to strengthen academic development across the university.
"Alhamdulillah, today we have officially signed this cooperation agreement between Madrasah Pembangunan UIN Jakarta and the Faculty of Medicine of UIN Jakarta, covering talent scouting for prospective students as well as collaboration in research and community service. We hope this partnership will further advance and strengthen the UIN Jakarta academic ecosystem," he said.
He added that the agreement would enable the Faculty of Medicine to identify and nurture academically promising students from an earlier stage of their education while creating broader opportunities for collaborative academic activities with Madrasah Pembangunan.
The partnership is also expected to foster the development of joint scientific initiatives, applied research, and community service programs that generate meaningful benefits for society.
Meanwhile, Director Teguh Sarwono expressed optimism that the collaboration would enhance the quality of Madrasah Pembangunan graduates by providing stronger pathways into higher education, particularly through admissions to the Faculty of Medicine.
"God willing, this partnership will bring meaningful benefits to both institutions, especially to Madrasah Pembangunan UIN Jakarta," he concluded.
