SPAN-PTKIN 2026 Registration Extended, UIN Jakarta Offers 30 Featured Study Programs

Jakarta, UIN News Online — The National Committee for Admissions to State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PMB PTKIN) has officially extended the registration period for the 2026 National Academic Achievement Selection (SPAN-PTKIN) until Wednesday, 4 March 2026. The extension is intended to provide more opportunities for high-achieving students and Islamic boarding school graduates to apply to their preferred State Islamic Universities (PTKIN).

The announcement was made by PMB PTKIN Chair Abdul Aziz through Circular Letter No. B-211/PMB-PTKIN/II/2026, dated 28 February 2026, regarding the revised SPAN-PTKIN 2026 schedule.

“In response to the growing number of students registering for SPAN-PTKIN 2026, we would like to announce a revision to the registration schedule,” he stated.

Under the revised schedule, registration has been extended from the original period of 11–28 February 2026 to 11 February–4 March 2026. The announcement of admission results remains scheduled for 7 April 2026, while document verification and enrollment procedures will follow the regulations of each participating PTKIN.

The national committee encourages eligible students who have not yet registered to complete their applications and select their preferred PTKIN and study programs as soon as possible.

Achievement-Based National Admission

SPAN-PTKIN is a nationwide admission pathway based on academic achievement, evaluating applicants through school report cards and supporting portfolios without requiring a written entrance examination.

Eligible educational institutions include Madrasah Aliyah (MA), Senior High Schools (SMA), Vocational High Schools (SMK), Formal Diniyah Education, Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School Equivalency Programs, Mu'adalah Muallimin, and Mu'adalah Salafiyah institutions officially recognized by the government.

Applicants must be nominated by their respective schools, be enrolled in their final year of study in 2026, possess a valid National Student Identification Number (NISN), demonstrate strong academic performance, and submit report card grades from the first semester of Grade 10 through the first semester of Grade 12, or Academic Competency Test (TKA) results where applicable.
