Apply Now! Indonesia Bangkit Scholarship 2025 Available for New UIN Jakarta Students

Jakarta, UIN Online News – New students at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta (UIN Jakarta) now have the opportunity to apply for the 2025 Beasiswa Indonesia Bangkit (BIB), a scholarship program managed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). The scholarship registration period is open from April 1 to May 31, 2025.

The Beasiswa Indonesia Bangkit (BIB) offers a full scholarship package covering both tuition and living expenses throughout the study period. For undergraduate (S1) students, the funding duration is up to 48 months.

According to UIN Online News, the scholarship funding includes comprehensive coverage such as registration fees, tuition fees, book allowances, research grants, and support for international seminars and journal publications.

BIB offers three scholarship tracks: general scholarships, achievement-based scholarships, and targeted scholarships. These are part of the Ministry of Religious Affairs' efforts to expand access to higher education, especially for students in need.

Responding to the launch of this initiative, UIN Jakarta Rector Prof. Asep Saepuddin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., welcomed the program. “The BIB program is a great support for new students facing financial challenges, particularly those struggling with high tuition fees,” he said.

Beyond easing financial burdens, BIB is also aimed at enhancing the quality of human resources within Islamic higher education institutions.

Applicants can register for the BIB scholarship through one of three pathways: the partnership pathway, LoA (Letter of Acceptance) pathway, and the regular pathway. Each track comes with its own set of requirements but shares the common goal of broadening educational access.
