Rectorate, UIN News Online — UIN Jakarta is pleased to welcome three new professors. They are expected to strengthen academic traditions in accordance with their respective fields of expertise. This was said by the Head of Center for Publication and Public Relation of UIN Jakarta Zaenal Muttaqin to UIN News Online, Friday (05/26/2023).
“The three new profess are Prof. Dr. H. Nurochim MM, Prof. Dr. Fadhilah Suralaga M.Si, Prof. Dr. Fauzan MA.,” he said.
Profesor Nurochim was appointed Professor of Education Management “Effective from April 1, 2023, his position has been elevated to the rank of Professor in the field of Education Management,” stated the official decree.
Nurochim has been appointed as a Full Professor with a credit score of 1,116, an increase from his previous position as an Associate Professor with a credit score of 669. The promotion is based on the consideration of the Credit Score Determination by the Acting Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology, number 235 of 2023.
Professor Fadhilah was appointed Professor of Educational Psychology. This appointment is in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Education, Research, and Technology number 26119 of 2023. “Effective from May 1, 2023, Professor Fadhilah’s position has been elevated to the rank of Professor/Full Professor in the field of Educational Psychology,” stated the official decree.
Fadhilah has been appointed as a Full Professor with a credit score of 884.50, an increase from their previous position as an Associate Professor with a credit score of 642. The promotion is based on the consideration of the Credit Score Determination by the Acting Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology, with number 530 of 2023.
Professor Fauzan was appointed Professor of Curriculum Development. This appointment is in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Education, Research, and Technology number 26120 of 2023. “Effective from May 1, 2023, Professor Fauzan’s position has been elevated to the rank of Professor of Curriculum Development,” stated the decree.
Fauzan has been appointed as Professor with a credit score of 1,056, an increase from their previous position as an Associate Professor with a credit score of 748. The promotion is based on the consideration of the Credit Score Determination by the Acting Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology, number 454 of 2023.
It is known that Professor Nurochim teaches in the Education Management Program at FITK UIN Jakarta. As a lecturer, he teaches various courses such as In-depth Pedagogical Content, Learning Device Development, Education Management, Student Management and Guidance Counseling, and others.
Professor Fadhilah, on the other hand, is assigned to teach in the Master’s Program in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology. She teaches courses such as Learning Psychology, Educational Psychology, Theory and Development of Creativity, and Guidance and Counseling.
Just like Professor Nurochim, Professor Fauzan is also a lecturer at FITK UIN Jakarta. He teaches courses such as In-depth Pedagogical Content, Learning Device Development, Curriculum Design and Development, Philosophy of Education, Elementary School Curriculum, Curriculum and Learning Analysis.
Meanwhile, Rector of UIN Jakarta Asep Saepudin Jahar expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the three professors in attaining the rank of Full Professor. According to him, becoming a Full Professor is indeed the highest career milestone in the academic world, but it is not the end of an individual’s academic journey. “This is just the beginning of the journey as an academician,” he emphasized.
Furthermore, the Rector added that when a lecturer is appointed as a Full Professor, they are expected to become a driving force in academic development. “A Professor is expected to continuously promote scientific studies and innovative research,” said Rector. (zm/usa)
