UIN Jakarta Provides a Quota of 1.083 Seats for SPAN-PTKIN Enrollment
Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta allocates at least 1.083 seats or approximately 30 percent for SPAN-PTKIN enrollment type. The number of seat quotas is spread across 30 religious study programs offered by six faculties. The UIN Jakarta PR release on Wednesday (03/30/2022) stated that UIN Jakarta's quota allocation on the SPAN-PTKIN enrollment type is not different from the previous year's quota. Each study program gets a quota of between 21 and 52 seats.
Of the six religious faculties, PMB Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training has the highest quota with 12 study programs. Meanwhile, the lowest quota is in the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah with one study program.
The following is the number of quotas for each study program based on the order of faculties. Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (a total of 334 seats), covering 52 seats for Islamic Education, Arabic Language Education (30 seats), English Education (30 seats), Biology Education (30 seats), Physics Education (30 seats), Education Management (30 seats), Indonesian Language Education (30 seats), Social Science Education (36 seats), Primary School Teacher Education (36 seats), and Early Childhood Teacher Education (30 seats).
The Faculty of Adab and Humanities (a total of 116 seats), covers Arabic Language and Literature (42 seats), History of Islamic Civilization (42 seats), and Translation (32 seats). The Faculty of Ushuluddin (a total of 156 seats) includes Religious Studies (21 seats), Study of Qur'an and Tafsir (45 seats), Study of Hadith (36 seats), Theology and Philosophy (33 seats), and Sufism (21 seats).
The Faculty of Sharia and Law (156 seats in total), includes Islamic Family Law (36 seats), Comparative Schools of Islamic Jurisprudence (36 seats), Constitutional Law (24 seats), Criminal Law (24 seats), and Islamic Economics (36 seats). Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Science (156 seats in total), covering Islamic Communication and Broadcasting (60 seats), Islamic Counseling (30 seats), Da'wah Management (42 seats), and Islamic Society Development (24 seats).
Faculty of Economics and Business (a total of 72 seats), including Sharis Banking (36 seats) and Sharia Economics (36 seats), and 48 seats at Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah. (ns/usa)
