UIN Jakarta Opens Rector Candidate Registration

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta has started the selection of Rector candidates for 2023-2027 period. Based on the official release from the Committee of Rector Candidates Selection, quoted by UIN News Online on Friday (09/02/2022). The release mentioned that there are a number of eligibility criteria for the candidates, among others, holding a  professor degree, being an active civil servant, have a minimum managerial experience as Head of the Department for a minimum of two years, not being subjected to disciplinary sanction or being sentenced, file a declaration of candidacy, submit the vision, mission and the quality improvement program of UIN Jakarta and no older than 60 years old at the time appointed.

In addition, applicants for rector candidates also need to follow the registration procedure. These include completing and sending registration files to the Selection Committee such as curriculum vitae, self-qualification statement instruments, and submitting LHKPN files.

Rector candidates who are declared to have passed the screening are required to submit documents of the vision, mission, and work program to be presented before the University Senate Plenary Session.

Applicants can access the registration form, screening schedule and statement format through https://www.uinjkt.ac.id/pengumuman-penjaringan-balon-rector-uin-jakarta-periode-2023-2027/. Registration documents can be submitted directly to the Selection Committee from 7-21 September 2022 on working days and hours.

For information, the selection process will be carried out in a number of stages. Starting from the announcement and socialization on September 1-6 2022, followed by the registration of the Rector  Candidate on September 7-21 2022.

The next stage is the file verification by the committee on September 22-27 2022, announcement of candidates who pass to the screening stage on September 28, 2022 and file submission to the University Senate on September 29, 2022.

The next stage is the provision of qualitative considerations by the University Senate on September 30 to October 10, 2022. The Rector candidate files will be sent to the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs on October 11, 2022. (zm/usa)
