UIN Jakarta Library is awarded with an “A” accreditation status

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The UIN Jakarta Library has succeeded in achieving a proud achievement by obtaining an “A” accreditation status. This achievement is expected to continue to encourage the UIN Jakarta Library to improve library services to the academic community.

Alhamdulillah, UIN Jakarta library is awarded with an  “A” accreditation status,” said the Head of Central Library Amrullah Hasbana to UIN News Online on Thursday (11/25/2021).

This achievement, he continued, was obtained after the reaccreditation visitation of the assessor team from the Library Accreditation Institute of the National Library of Indonesia. The visit itself was carried out today, Thursday (11/25/2021).

During the visitation, the National Library of Indonesia sent three assessors. The three are Main Expert Librarian/Library Accreditation Assessor Adriati Zein, Library Accreditation Assessor Badollahi Mustafa, and Young Librarian Syarifah Nurhidayah.

Separately, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis expressed her appreciation for this achievement. “We congratulate the UIN Jakarta Library for achieving a very satisfactory accreditation status,” she said.

She hopes that the achievement of accreditation can be interpreted as an encouragement to always improve the quality of library resources and services within UIN Jakarta. This is in line with UIN Jakarta's commitment to providing an adequate academic climate for the academic community's learning and research processes. (usa/zm)
