UIN Jakarta launches Professor Nabilah Scholarship for Arabic Studies

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta launched the Professor Nabilah Lubis Scholarship Program for Arabic Studies, Wednesday (12/22/2021). Scholarship from Nabilah Lubis and her family are intended for students who are studying Arabic at the Bachelor and Master’s degree at UIN Jakarta.

The launch of the scholarship program was carried out directly by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis accompanied by the Director of the Social Trust Fund (STF) of UIN Jakarta Amelia Fauzia. Prof. Dr. Nabilah Lubis also attended the launch.

The scholarship program itself will be managed by STF UIN Jakarta. STF UIN Jakarta will distribute the scholarships to students through an administrative and academic selection process.

In her speech, Rector Amany said that the Professor Nabilah Lubis Scholarship for Arabic Studies Program is intended to support the development of Arabic language and literature studies at UIN Jakarta. This is also in line with the encouragement of the study of Arabic-based philological texts.

“The scholarship program itself is dedicated to the name of Prof. Dr. Nabilah Lubis, an Arabic Literature and Philology professor at UIN Jakarta,”said Rector.

Based on UIN News Online Records, the presence of Professor Nabilah Lubis Scholarship for Arabic Studies itself adds to the list of scholarship programs managed by STF UIN Jakarta. Previously, STF was trusted to manage the Azyumardi Azra Scholarsip (AAS) Program from Prof. Dr. Azyumardi Azra for students of Indonesian Islamic history studies and philanthropic studies. (zm/usa)
