UIN Jakarta Extends Payment Period for SNBP and SPAN-PTKIN Tuition Fees

Rectorat Building, UIN Online News — The leadership of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has decided to extend the payment period for Single Tuition Fee (UKT) for new prospective students who have been declared eligible through the SNBP and SPAN-PTKIN selection routes. The payment period has been extended until Friday, May 10, 2024, from the previous dates of Thursday, May 2, 2024 (SNBP Route) and Friday, May 3, 2024 (SPAN-PTKIN Route).

This decision was reached during a closed meeting of the UIN Jakarta leadership attended by the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar M.A. Ph.D., vice rectors, and bureau chiefs, on Thursday (05/02/2024). Also present at the meeting were the Academic Affairs Office, Pustipanda, and the Information and Public Relations Center of UIN Jakarta.

In his presentation, Rector Asep Jahar revealed that the leadership of UIN Jakarta decided to extend the payment period for UKT for new prospective students accepted through the SNBP and SPAN-PTKIN routes for the academic year 2024/2025. The extension policy was made considering the need for a more flexible time frame for prospective students and their parents/guardians to fulfill their obligations.

"Considering the considerable time required for payment by new prospective students who passed the SNBP and SPAN-PTKIN selection, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has decided to extend the payment period for UKT for new prospective students accepted through these two selection routes until Friday, May 10, 2024, at 4:30 PM local time," he said.

It is known that the UKT payment period for new prospective students accepted through the SNBP route previously fell on Thursday, May 2, 2024, while the UKT payment period for the SPAN-PTKIN route fell on Friday, May 3, 2024.

"Hopefully, this payment extension period can also help new prospective students and their families fulfill their UKT obligations," he added.

For confirmation of UKT payment itself, new prospective students who have passed the selection as well as their parents/guardians can directly communicate with the dean's leadership at each faculty and study program.

"Please, faculty and study program leaders, assist our prospective students, our children," he added.

It is known that UIN Jakarta this year has opened several selection routes for new undergraduate students. Among them are the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) route, the National Academic Achievement Selection-State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (SPAN-PTKIN) route, Computer-Based Selection Test (SNBT), Entrance Examination for State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (UM-PTKIN), and Independent New Student Admission Selection (SPMB).

The total number of undergraduate study programs offered for the academic year 2024/2025 is 56 study programs in 12 faculties. Information regarding student registration can be accessed on the website https://admisi.uinjkt.ac.id/.
