UIN Jakarta Expose 2026 Hosts Dialogue with 200 School Principals

Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN Online News—As part of its effort to expand information outreach and strengthen relationships with educational institutions, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a National Education Synergy Meeting as part of the UIN Jakarta Expose 2026 series. The event, which brought together university leaders with principals of senior high schools (SMA/SMK/MA), Islamic boarding schools, and educators, took place at the Diorama Room on Wednesday (February 11, 2026).

The activity was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi Kharlie, S.Ag., S.H., M.H., M.A.; the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D.; the Information and Public Relations Center team, Dr. Deden Mauli Darajat, S.Sos.I., M.Sc.; and was joined by around 200 principals and teacher representatives from SMA, SMK, MA, and Islamic boarding schools across Greater Jakarta and other regions. The forum became a space for dialogue to align perspectives regarding the university admission system and equal access to education services.

In his remarks, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Tholabi stated that the meeting was a strategic step by the university to reach outstanding students from partner schools.

“Today we are building ties with a number of school principals. This is a very strategic momentum to build synergy and cooperation between UIN Jakarta and schools, which are the places where our prospective students previously received their education,” he said.

He further explained that the forum was not one-sided but also a space to absorb aspirations from schools.

“This forum is very useful in providing feedback and suggestions. We also convey our hope to madrasa and school leaders that UIN Jakarta can attract the best prospective students. We strongly hope there is commitment from school leaders to support higher education organized at UIN Jakarta,” he added.

Meanwhile, one of the principals from SMA Al-Ghazali Gunung Sindur, Bogor, Antoni Firdaus, appreciated UIN Jakarta’s initiative to directly involve school principals in Expose 2026.

“This activity is very beneficial for us. We gained a lot of important information that we can later convey directly to all our students at school,” he said.

He also expressed his hope after participating in the series of events, including the campus tour session using the electric bus provided by the committee.

“Hopefully with this synergy, schools can gain easier access to information so our students can enter public universities like UIN Jakarta in a more guided and accessible way,” he concluded.
