UIN Expose 2026 Helps Students Explore Study Program Options

Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN Online News—UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully held UIN Expose 2026 under the theme “Discover Your Path: Be Part of UIN Jakarta.” The event took place at the Harun Nasution Auditorium on Wednesday (February 11, 2026). The purpose of the event was to provide direct information about study program options and the academic atmosphere at UIN Jakarta.

For prospective students, the expo became a first opportunity to see the diversity of study programs in more detail. A student from Al-Kamil Islamic Boarding School in Tangerang, Mieske Nur Octaviani, explained that the visit changed her perception of university life, which she realized is very specific.

“This is our first time attending a campus expo. Before, we only knew about university in general, but here we learned that within each faculty there are study programs focused on specific fields. Now we are no longer confused about choosing,” she said.

She added that her Islamic boarding school background made her more interested in UIN Jakarta. According to her, the campus environment allows students to maintain religious values and social conduct formed in the boarding school while pursuing academic interests such as informatics engineering.

“I’m very interested because besides studying, we can still practice our religion like we did in the boarding school. The social environment is also well maintained. Maybe here we can gain both worldly knowledge and rewards for the hereafter,” she expressed.

Another participant from Al-Kamil Islamic Boarding School, Nazwa Salsabella, highlighted the large crowd attended by schools from outside the region. Although the exhibition area was filled with thousands of visitors, she felt it added a new experience in getting to know the campus environment.

“It might be crowded and full, but I’m happy to see it. This is also my first experience visiting UIN Jakarta,” she said.

Similarly, Windy Adellia Anisty, also from Al-Kamil Islamic Boarding School, added that coordination of information between the school and the university had gone well. This made it easier for her to process university registration.

“Information about registration and scholarships has actually been explained many times by our teachers at the boarding school, so here we just need to strengthen our decision. We have also registered at UIN Jakarta through the SNBP pathway,” she added.

Through this event, participants hope to prepare themselves better before entering university life. In addition to visiting faculty booths, they also had the opportunity to try campus facilities such as the electric bus provided to direct visitors during the event.
