Two Study Programmes of FDIKOM UIN Jakarta Achieve Excellent Accreditation
FDIKOM Building, UIN Online News - Two study programmes at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Islamic Broadcasting Communication Study Programme and Da'wah Management Study Programme, have achieved superior accreditation. This achievement is expected to make the education offered more maintained and continue to improve its quality.
The superior accreditation information was delivered directly by the Dean of FDIKOM, Dr Gun Gun Heriyanto M.Si at the FDIKOM Building, Wednesday (13/3/2024). "Alhamdulillah, two study programmes in FDIKOM, Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Programme (KPI) and Da'wah Management Study Programme (MD) have been accredited as excellent," he said.
The determination of the superior accreditation status of the Da'wah Management Study Programme is stipulated in the Decree of the Chairman of BAN PT Number 787 of 2024. While the determination of the superior accreditation of the Islamic Broadcasting Communication Study Programme was carried out through the Decree of the Chairman of BAN PT Number 804 of 2024.
Dean Gun Gun hopes that the superior accreditation can maintain the consistency of Fdikom to continue to improve the academic quality offered. In addition, he hopes the same accreditation will be achieved by other study programmes. "Hopefully there will be more excellent study programmes at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta," he said.
Referring to data from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT), the determination of superior accreditation for two FDIKOM study programmes adds to the number of study programmes that have been accredited as superior. Previously, superior accreditation had been achieved by seven study programmes in four faculties of UIN Jakarta.
The details are Information Systems and Informatics Engineering (Faculty of Science and Technology), Islamic Criminal Law and Comparative Mazhab (Faculty of Sharia and Law), and Public Health (Faculty of Health Sciences). Two other study programmes are Tadris English and Early Childhood Islamic Education (Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training).
Meanwhile, Islamic Broadcasting Communication and Da'wah Management are two of the six undergraduate programmes offered by Fdikom UIN Jakarta. The other four are Islamic Guidance and Counselling Study Programme, Social Welfare Study Programme, Islamic Community Development Study Programme, and Journalism Study Programme.
At the master's level, Fdikom offers two programmes. They are the Master's Programme in Islamic Communication and Broadcasting and the Master's Programme in Da'wah Management. (Linda/Fauziah/ZM)
