Students of SMAN 10 South Tangerang Visit UIN Jakarta

Aula Student Center, Berita UIN Online - A total of 300 11th grade students and 15 teachers of SMAN 10 South Tangerang visited UIN Jakarta on Monday (26/2/2024). The visit is one of the goes to campus programs implemented by SMAN 10 South Tangerang to introduce UIN Jakarta to its students related to new student admission pathways, faculties, study programs, and campus activities.

The arrival of students and teachers of SMAN 10 South Tangerang was welcomed by the Head of Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) UIN Jakarta, Zaenal Muttaqin, MPP., in the Student Center Hall. In his speech, Zaenal expressed his enthusiasm to welcome the visit of SMAN 10 South Tangerang students, he hopes that later UIN Jakarta can build more cooperation with high schools in South Tangerang.

Head of SMAN 10 South Tangerang, Drs. Usman, M.Pd., expressed his gratitude to UIN Jakarta for accepting their visit and helping the children introduce UIN Jakarta campus. He also expressed his hope that the cooperation built between UIN Jakarta and SMAN 10 South Tangerang can be fruitful so that more students of SMAN 10 South Tangerang will be accepted as new students at UIN Jakarta.

"I am here with three messages, the first is to thank UIN for accepting us to come here, the goal is to prepare Gen Z children who will fill 2045 as the golden year so that they are open-minded and can answer the challenges of the times. Secondly, we as leaders hope that UIN will pay attention to SMAN 10 which is located nearby, so that it can be a concern, hopefully every year SMAN 10 can be accepted at UIN. Third, we apologize to UIN if our presence is disturbing because it comes too early from the schedule," he said.

UIN Jakarta lecturer, Fauziah Muslimah, M.I.Kom., started the material by describing the profile of UIN Jakarta, available scholarships, and Student Activity Units (UKM) that can be followed by UIN Jakarta students. The material continued with presentations from the Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH), Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIK), Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Student Affairs, Faculty of Psychology (FPsi), and Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah (FDI).
