STF UIN Jakarta ready to assist in collecting and distributing Zaqah

Ciputat, UIN News Online – The Social Trust Fund (STF) UIN Jakarta invites zakat payers or muzakky to distribute their zakat through UIN Jakarta STF zakat account. All zakat paid by the muzakky will be distributed to the less fortunate people and productive programs of the target zakat community.

This was said by the Director of STF UIN Jakarta Amelia Fauzia to UIN News Online on Thursday (05/21/2020). “We also started to open zakah payment services, where zakah fitrah will be distributed to the less fortunate, and zakah maal will be channeled through scholarship payment programs for tuition fees or UKT next semester,” said Amelia.

In the STF UIN Jakarta online page, it is mentioned that the muzakky can deposit the zakat fitrah as well as the charity payments, which can be channeled through a BNI Syariah account number 3003-03-04-07 a.n. Meanwhile, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis invited the muzakky to distribute their zakah through the STF UIN Jakarta account. "Paying zakat at the time of the Covid-19 pandemic is highly recommended and has a large reward. I invite all members of UIN Jakarta, as well as the wider community, to immediately pay their zakahat STF UIN Jakarta," said Amany.
