Rector conveys UIN Jakarta's Achievements to the supervisory board

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Rector Amany Lubis conveyed various achievements of UIN Jakarta until the third quarter of 2021 during a meeting with the Supervisory Board (Dewas) of UIN Jakarta on Wednesday (11/10/2021). In addition to budget realization, Rector also conveyed various academic achievements, student affairs, cooperation and institutional development.

Besides being attended by the leaders of UIN Jakarta, the virtual meeting was also attended by leaders and members of the Dewas. The Dewas included Professor Kamaruddin Amin (Chairman of the Dewas), Professor Nizar, Iqbal Islami, Mohammad Dody Fachrudin, and Wiwi Siti Sajaroh (Secretary of the Dewas).

From the budget absorption perfromance, Rector Amany said that the realization of the budget reached almost 70 percent, so she was optimistic that the performance was on target. Realization in the sectors of capital expenditure, goods, social assistance, and resources is expected to continue to increase before the end of 2021 fiscal year.

The faculties and Postgraduate Schools of UIN Jakarta also showed high performance in achieving the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) throughout 2021. The Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Ushuluddin, and the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah, for example, recorded a percentage of 100 percent of KPI achievement.

Achievement of academic aspects also showed an important improvement. 46 study programs (Prodi) UIN Jakarta have an “A” accreditation  status (59 percent). Likewise, the number of articles indexed by Scopus, 34 journals accredited by SINTA, 60 scientific works with intellectual property rights, and 80 professors.

Various collaborations also continue to be carried out in line with academic development and community service at UIN Jakarta. “One week ago, we also collaborated with the Belitung Government in developing a geosite for academic purposes and for community service,” she explained.

Responding to these various achievements, the Dewas also hope that UIN Jakarta will continue to pursue the achievement of the targets that have been set throughout 2021.

One of them came from Iqbal Islami who advised that the realization target need to be pursued before the end of 2021 fiscal year. However, he also requested that the realization must pay attention to the principles of accountability and efficiency so that the existing budget really supports the development of UIN Jakarta in providing academic services.
