Syahida Inn, UIN News Online – The status of Green Campus is the dream of all UIN Jakarta academic community. However, it takes a long process and the cooperation of all parties to realize these expectations. In order to realize this dream, UIN Jakarta through the Green Campus Team of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, chaired by Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development Lily Surayya Eka Putri held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity for collecting UIGM 2021 Instrument Survey Data on Monday (10/11/2021).

“For 2021, data collection process is expected to be even better and all units/faculties can cooperate in collecting and filling out UIGM instrument data,” said Lily.

Present in the FGD, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis as well as representatives from the faculties and also the rectorate who are both responsible for collecting data on UIGM instruments.

Rector in her opening remarks hopes that this FGD can improve the ranking of UIN Jakarta in UI GreenMetric in 2021 and beyond. She also also hopes that UIN Jakarta can continue to develop and become a green and sustainable campus.

Furthermore, Rector also advised that in protecting the environment, it is necessary to build a "new vitality" where the cadademic community does not only improve, maintain, and preserve materially (physically), but also spiritually for the sake of Allah SWT.

The FGD itself presented an Expert Member of Data, System, and IT at UI GreenMetric Ruki Harwahyu as a resource person. In his presentation, Ruki explained the six categories in the UI GreenMetric instrument.

It is known that UIN Jakarta itself has been a member of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings since 2020. In its first year of membership, UIN Jakarta was ranked 52 out of 88 national universities. A pretty good achievement with a fairly short preparation. (usa/zm)
