Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – Center for Community Service (PPM) of UIN Jakarta will holds the 2023 Student Community Service (KKN) Program. In addition to KKN Reguler, students are given the opportunity to carry out community service through non-regular Community Service programs such as KKN Kebangsaan, KKN Moderasi Beragama, and KKN Internasional.
This was conveyed in the 2023 KKN Socialization activities carried out by the PPM LP2M UIN Jakarta in the Main Auditorium, Thursday (03/16/2023).
The socialization activity was opened by the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs Ali Munhanif accompanied by the Head of LP2M Jajang Jahroni, the Head of PPM Kamarusdiana and PPM Community Service Coordinator Deden Mauli Darajat.
In his report, the Head of PPM Kamarusdiana said, this year’s KKN participants are projected to reach more than 5,000 participants. “ As of this afternoon, the total number of students who registered through UIN Jakarta’s Student Information System (AIS) has reached 4,800 people,” he said.
He also added that the implementation of this year’s KKN will be carried out in the context of scientific integration where the groups of KKN participants will be mixed from various faculties and study programs.
“It is hoped that each KKN group will have a background and perspective of service from various scientific angles,” he added.
On the same occasion, Deden said that the implementation of KKN this year would be carried out with regular and non-regular KKN schemes. KKN Reguler will be held in two community service areas, Bogor Regency in West Java and Tangerang Regency in Banten.
For non-regular KKN, he continued, PPM UIN Jakarta offers a number of KKN formats. Among them are KKN Moderasi Beragama, KKN In Campus, KKN Nasional, KKN Tematik, KKN Internasional, and KKN Internasional via AIESEC.
Meanwhile Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs of UIN Jakarta Ali Munhanif in his remarks expect the students to prepare and carry out this KKN activity as well as possible.
The implementation of KKN for university students in Indonesia, he continued, is carried out to minimize the gap between the educated social class and empowerment target social class.
