Open Registration for S2 and S3 Students, UIN Jakarta Offers Islamic Education Study Program to Biomedical Sciences
Rectorate Building, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is still accepting new student applications for its master's and doctoral programs until July 4, 2025, to facilitate graduates of bachelor's and master's programs in pursuing higher education. UIN Jakarta offers 23 master's programs and 3 doctoral programs, ranging from Islamic Religious Education to Biomedical Sciences, each with various academic advantages.
"UIN Jakarta's master's and doctoral programs are mostly 'excellent' accredited with dozens of competent professors in their respective fields, making them highly suitable destinations for pursuing education at this level. Each master's and doctoral program is designed as an academic home that supports its students," explained Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi M.A. M.H.
For this reason, the Academic Vice Rector invites bachelor's and master's graduates from all over Indonesia to continue their studies in various master's and doctoral programs at UIN Jakarta. "Insha Allah, master's and doctoral students here are supported by a conducive learning environment, a strong academic climate, a curriculum relevant to contemporary needs, and guidance from expert professors in their respective fields," he added.
This admission covers various study programs from faculties and the postgraduate school, all excelling in their fields. For Master's Programs, more than 20 study programs are offered, including:
- Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Sciences: Master of English Language Education, Master of Islamic Religious Education, Master of Arabic Language, Master of Islamic Education Management
- Faculty of Adab and Humanities: Master of Arabic Language and Literature, Master of Islamic History and Civilization
- Faculty of Ushuluddin: Master of Comparative Religion, Master of Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy, Master of Qur'anic Studies and Tafsir
- Faculty of Sharia and Law: Master of Sharia Economic Law, Master of Family Law (Ahwal Syakhshiyyah)
- Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences: Master of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, Master of Da'wah Management
- Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah: Master of Islamic Studies (Arabic as medium of instruction)
- Faculty of Science and Technology: Master of Agribusiness, Master of Information Technology
- Faculty of Economics and Business: Master of Sharia Banking, Master of Sharia Economics
- Faculty of Psychology: Master of Psychology
- Faculty of Medicine: Master of Biomedical Sciences
- Faculty of Social and Political Sciences: Master of Sociology, Master of Political Science
- Graduate School: Master of Islamic Studies
As for doctoral programs, they are offered in three faculties:
- Doctor of Islamic Religious Education (Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Sciences)
- Doctor of Sharia Banking (Faculty of Economics and Business)
- Doctor of Islamic Studies (Graduate School)
In addition to various academic advantages, UIN Jakarta's master's and doctoral programs also offer scholarship opportunities from various institutions. These include the Indonesia Bangkit Scholarship (BIB) from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP) from the Ministry of Finance, the BAZNAS Scholarship, the Social Trust Fund (STF) UIN Jakarta Scholarship, and others.
The registration period for master's and doctoral programs is still open for another month (Master's-Doctoral Registration Period: February 10 - July 4, 2025).
