Hundreds of Al-Kahfi Integrated Islamic High School Students Visit UIN Jakarta

SC Building, UIN News Online – A total of 160 students from the Integrated Islamic High School (SMAIT) Al-Kahfi Bogor, West Java, visit UIN Jakarta. The visit was carried out in the context of "Motivation Day" activities for grade 10 and grade 11 students.

“We want to introduce the UIN Jakarta campus to students so that they have an insight into higher education,” said the principal of SMAIT Al-Kahfi Endang Rancana, accompanied by nine teachers at the Student Center Building, Monday (05/30/2022).

In addition, added Endang, SMAIT Al-Kahfi also wants to introduce its students to the development of cognitive and psychomotor abilities. This is done so that they can prepare themselves earlier in to face of competition in the world of work.

Endang also said that SMAIT Al-Kahfi is an educational institution under the Pedesaan Nusantara Foundation (YPN). This foundation houses several other educational institutions, such as Islamic boarding schools, Al-Kahfi Kindergarten/TPA, Al-Kahfi Middle School, MA Al-Kahfi, Tahfidzul Qur'an, and Super Takhasus Tahfidzul Qur'an (STTQ).

“Since our establishment in 1993, we have wanted to provide quality-oriented education, both spiritually, intellectually and morally within the framework of Islamic values,” he said.

On the same occasion, AAKK Bureau Chief Jaenuddin welcomes the student visit to UIN Jakarta. He hoped that the visit of SMAIT students from the Al-Kahfi Islamic Boarding School would not only get to know the UIN Jakarta campus from the outside but also get to know more about the educational process inside.

“We also hope that the visit can motivate the students to continue their education to a higher level, especially to UIN Jakarta,” said Jaenuddin.

Meanwhile, Taufan Maulana Firdaus from the Public Relations office of UIN Jakarta also provided detailed information about UIN Jakarta, including the mechanism for new student admissions which was opened through six enrollment types.

“UIN Jakarta currently has 12 faculties with 56 undergraduate study programs, four professional education, 17 master programs, and three doctoral programs,” said Taufan. (ns/usa)
