UIN Sumatera Utara to learn About Public Relation System in UIN Jakarta

IMG_8226AUK Bureau Meeting Room, UIN News Online – Some officials from UIN Sumatera Utara, Friday, (12/9), visited UIN Jakarta. Their arrival in a comparative study is to learn more about UIN Jakarta public relation system, especially in the fields of publication and information.

The group is consists of four people, they are Dr M Ridwan (the Head of Data Centre and Information Technology Division of UIN Sumatera Utara), Head of Cooperation, Institutional, and Public Relations Hermansyah, Development Program Cooperation Analyst Morakiddin Harahap and Public Relation Staff M Natsir. They are welcomed in the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (BAUK) meeting room by the Sub-division Head of Documentary and Publication Feni Ariafiani. Also present at the meeting, Documentary and Publication staffs Eva Nauli Aprilla, Nanang Syaikhu, Edi A Efendy, Zaenal Muttaqin, Hermanudin, Luthfy Rijalul Fikri, Ali Nasrun Meha, Samsudin, dan Umar Syarif Audah.

In his welcoming speech, Feni said that in every institution, Public Relation (PR) has a strategic function, acted as a spearhead for the institution to spread the information about the institution to the public. Because of that, Feni greatly appreciates the officials of UIN Sumatera Utara who wanted to learn about PR system to UIN Jakarta.

“Welcome and thanks for visiting us in UIN Jakarta. Hopefully, we can strengthen the relationship and the development of public relation and science at both institutions,” he said.

Feni explained that the performance of PR could be maximized when there is cohesiveness between the staff and the officials as well as between the staffs itself.

Even the synergy will be more increased rapidly if each unit in the institutions can work together and respect each other.

“PR has a wide network, not only internally, but also externally. UIN Jakarta today is trying optimizing the role of its PR,” said Feni.

Meanwhile, M Ridwan from UIN Sumatera Utara expressed that UIN Sumatera Utara would learn more about the public relations programs from UIN Jakarta to bring forward the promotion of their campus. (ika p/umar)
