UIN Jakarta will Participate in International Education Expo

Rectorate, UIN News Online– UIN Jakarta will participate onThe 25^th International Education and Training Expo 2017 at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) in early February. This prestigious expo is aimed to introduce higher education to high school students, especially to 12^th grade students.

“Insya Allah UIN Jakarta will be ready to participate in the expo according to the availability of our budget,” said the Rector Prof Dr Dede Rosyada when he led the expo preparation meeting in his office, Monday (1/9). Also present in the meeting, Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr Fadhilah Suralaga, Vice Rector of Cooperation and Development Prof Dr Murodi,Head of Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (BAUK)Dr Rudi Subiyantoro, Head of Finance and Planning Bureau Drs Subarja MPd, and Sub-division head of Publication and Documentation Feni Arifiani MH.

Rector asserts, the exhibition is veryessential to be implemented. This is because there are still people who don’t know about UIN Jakarta as one of prestigious university in Indonesia, even in International Scale.

“We need to continuously promote our university, even if there is significant increase of the applicant from year to year,” he said.

Vice Rector of Academic Affairs DrFadhilah Suralaga said this year’s expo should give a different colour than the previous years. The staff should also well prepared so that they can givecorrect information to the visitors.

“The staff may involve students, especially the high achieving students to add the impression of UIN Jakarta.They should get training beforehand,  so that they can communicate and give a good services to the visitors,” she said.

The 25^th International Education and Training Expo 2017 will be held on 2-5 February 2017 at JCC, South Jakarta. The expo will be attended by various educational and training institutions, both domestic and international. (rs/usa)
