Bali, UIN NEWS Online – Journal team from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta and the journal team from FEB University of Udayana (UNUD) Bali are ready to work together to accelerate the quality improvement of the journals published by each institution. The commitment of collaboration is achieved in a comparative study of FEB UIN Jakarta to FEB University of Udayana concerning the journal publishing,  Bali, Thursday-Saturday, (10/27-29).

Editor in chief for Jurnal Signifikan UIN Jakarta M. Nur Rianto Al Arief, explained that the comparative study filled with discussions and information exchange about journal management. Furthermore, we were agreed to work together to do the training and journal articles exchange. These exchanges are expected to meet the standards of the articles composition in every new issue of the journal.

“We wanted to work together with FEB University of Udayana journal team, not only accredited journals but also other journals which are managed by FEB University of Udayana, including in fulfilling the needs of the article script,” said Arief.

He also added, this comparative study is also intended to make the journals in both faculties that have not been accredited may soon get an accredited status. To be known, FEB UIN Jakarta has Jurnal Signifikan: Jurnal Ilmu Ekonomi with the grade 'B' accredited status. While FEB University of Udayana has Jurnal Matrik: Jurnal Manajemen, Strategi Bisnis dan Kewirausahaan with the grade 'B' accredited status and Jurnal Ekonomi Kuantitatif Terapan which is also obtained grade 'B' accredited status.

“This is the basis of academic consideration of synergies that can be beneficial to both institutions.” He added.

Other than Jurnal Signifikan, FEB UIN Jakarta also has several other journals, namely Jurnal Etikonomi: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Jurnal Esensi: Jurnal Manajemen dan Bisnis and Jurnal Akuntabilitas: Jurnal Ilmu Akuntansi, while FEB University of Udayana has Jurnal Matrik, JIAB, BSE, and Ekonomi Kuantitatif Terapan.

In line with Arief, editor in chief of Jurnal Matrik FEB University of Udayana Ni Wayan Ekawati, gladly welcomed the commitment of collaboration from both institutions. She responded positively with the efforts in developing the quality of the journal as a place for the publication of research results done by the lecturers.

“Even after we receive a comparative study request letter, we immediately responded it positively,” Said Wayan.

This comparative study is conducted by some journal team from FEB UIN Jakarta, among them are the journal team leader M. Nur Rianto Al Arief, Zuhairan Y. Yunan as the editor in chief for Jurnal Etikonomi: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Ismawati Hariwibowo and Fitri Damayanti as the editor, and Edi Setiawan, Adam Chamubar, and Afried Lazuardi Purnazaman as the co-editor.

From the University of Udayana, this comparative study is conducted by Ni Wayan Ekawati as editor in chief for Jurnal Matrik, Ni Wayan Sukadana as the editor in chief for Jurnal Ekonomi Kuantitatif Terapan, Ni Made Ratih Kusuma Dewi as the section editor for Jurnal JEKT, IGA, Eka Damayanthi as the redactor for Jurnal JIAB, and Amita Nugraheni Saraswaty as the editor for Jurnal BSE.
