Conference room, UIN News Online – Five students of UIN Jakarta managed to get a scholarship from the Movement for Economic and Cultural of Minangkabau (Gebu Minang). The scholarship handover process took places on Friday (10/7) in the Conference room of UIN Jakarta.
Present in the event, the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof Dr Dede Rosdyada MA, accompanied by Vice Rector of Students Affair Prof Dr Yusran Razak MA, and the Head of Academic Administration and Cooperation (BAAKK) Drs. H. Zaenal Arifin, M.Pd.I. Also present the Chairman of Gebu Minang Ir H. Ermansyah Jamin Datuk Tanmaliputi and his officials.
On that occasion, Ermansyah Jamin said that this scholarship program is raised by the International Minang Community.
“This scholarship program is raised by the International Minang Community, and will be given to students from three universities in Indonesia, one of which is UIN Jakarta.” He said.
In the same place, rector of UIN Jakarta appreciated the program. He expected that the grantees to maintain their achievement.
“I hope you can maintain the GPA by 3.25 or even more. Thus, can be promoted to LPDP program scholarship in the future” He said.
As information, the five students who achieve the scholarships are Ahmad Afdhal from the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), Doni from the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teachers Training (FTIK), Helma Suryani from the Faculty of Shari’ah and Law (FSH), Anandiatul Khariah, from the Faculty of Shari’ah and Law (FSH), and Irwan Hidayat from the Faculty of Shari’ah and Law (FSH) UIN Jakarta.
