UIN Jakarta Student Council held SOA 2016

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online –UIN Jakarta student council (DEMA) will hold Sing Out Asia Talk show (SOA) at Harun Nasution Auditorium, Thursday  (9/1). This event will be attended by SOA member state representatives from Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam,  Thailand, and Vietnam as well as another Asian country.

One of SOA activities is to introduce the culture and education of their respective countries. Last year, Indonesia introduced Angklung as the traditional Indonesian musical instrument. And for this year, Indonesia will add Batik as a cultural treasure of Indonesia.

This year SOA event was attended by 11  student representatives from Japan. As the opening act, they sang a few song and then continued with Indonesian traditional dance from Aceh and Angklung performance from the students of UIN Jakarta.
