Diorama room, UIN News Online – As the implementation of a new curriculum based on National Qualifications Framework Indonesia (KKN), UIN Jakarta feels the need to socialize about the importance of SKPI (Diploma Supplement Certificate) to all UIN Jakarta Graduates.

The Head of Academic Administration and Cooperation (BAAKK) UIN Jakarta Drs. H. Zaenal Arifin, M.Pd.I explained, the socialization of SKPI has been delivered to the faculty and academic some time ago. However, due to technical problems, its implementation did not run well.

“There are still technical obstacles which involve the network system,” said Zaenal while delivering the speech regarding the implementation of SKPI to academic staff and the head and secretary of study program from each faculty in UIN Jakarta in diorama room, Thursday, (12/1).

According to Zaenal, the implementation of SKPI to the new graduates is a mandate of KKNI curriculum. This was done so that in addition to the formal certificate, every graduate also has the specific expertise diploma supplement certificate (SKPI).

“To improve the quality of the graduates, they are not only provided with formal diplomas but also must have a certificate of expertise. It is intended that graduates possess specialized expertise outside their scientific disciplines,” he said.

As reported previously, UIN Jakarta had to carry out the provision of SKPI to the new graduates. However, due to technical obstacles, there are some faculties that have not implemented it yet. Therefore, through the meeting and socialization that was held on yesterday, is expected to provide a clear picture of the implementation of SKPI in all faculties, including at the post graduate school.
