UIN Jakarta Signed Cooperation with Tohoku University Japan

Japan, UIN News Online – to support the World Class University program, three delegations from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Jakarta make a visit to Graduate School of Medicine Tohoku University Japan, Thursday (9/29).

During the visit, both parties are agreed to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the fields of academic. It aims to strengthen the research collaboration between universities, professor exchange, to send the lecturer and alumni to continue their studies to a higher level, and to collaborate in organizing an international seminar.

Dean of FKIK UIN Jakarta Prof Arif Sumantri SKM MKes, accompanied by the Head of Public Health Study Program Fajar Ariyanti Ph.D. and the lecturer of Public Health study program as well as the Ph.D. candidate from Tohoku University Raihana Nadra Alkaff had the opportunity to sign the MoU.

Meanwhile, from Tohoku University was signed by the Dean of Tohoku University Prof. Tooru Shimosegawa, witnessed by Director of International Exchange Professor Hitoshi Oshitani, Director of Administration Offices Professor Kazunori Hatakeyama, Vice Director of General Affairs Office and Assistant Professor Takahiro Sato Tohoku University Dr. Wan-Ting Chou.

This cooperation agreement is the initiation of the FKIK UIN Jakarta Public Health study program that has been previously established to develop the research and to send the lecturer and alumni to continue their studies at Tohoku University Japan. (fa/mf/ika p/umar)
