Rectorate, UIN NEWS Online– UIN Jakarta sent its student to Western Sydney University (WSU), New South Wales, Australia. This student exchange was a form of cooperation between UIN Jakarta and WSU since 2005, said Head of Center for International Cooperation (PLKI),Rachmat Baihaky, MA in his office today (7/14).
In a different place, the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Dede Rosyada MA gives an advice to the student who will study at WSU to follow the lecturesas well as possible, to keep the good name of the alma mater and reach the achievement in the name of UIN Jakarta.
“With this program, we want to established a mutually beneficial cooperation between UIN Jakarta and Western Sydney University, especially in the field of research and education. Hopefully, the student from UIN Jakarta who departed to Australia were able to quickly adapt and continue the education to the level of Master degree abroad,” he added.
When met by UIN News Online, Aisyah Fajrya, the fifth semester student who majoring in International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of UIN Jakarta admitted that she is very grateful to have been selected for a student exchange program this year.
“Alhamdulillah, I had the opportunity to study at WSU. I would take three courses to fit the majors that I took at UIN Jakarta, which is International Relations,” she said.
According to her, this opportunity will be used for expanding her networks, to increase her experience and to improve her languages skill. She also shares a tips on how to increase the English Laguage skills, “I trained my English skills by listening to musics, reading a book and watching the movies without seeing the subtitles,” said the student who dreams of becoming a Diplomat’s.
