UIN Jakarta Santris Celebrate Mawlid

FKIK, UIN News Online – To celebrate the Mawlid of Prophet Muhammad SAW, UIN Jakarta students who joined in the Community of Scholars Pupils Ministry of Religious Affairs (CSSMoRA) are carrying out the shalawat and Khataman al-Quran. This event was held in room 307 of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (FKIK) UIN Jakarta, Monday, (12/12).

In addition to celebrating the Mawlid, khataman activity is also a part of "Ngaji Movement for Salvation of the Nation" which is initiated by the National CSSMoRa. These activities are also held as the 9th anniversary commemoration day of the organization.

After Khataman, CSSMoRa members who also FKIK students of UIN Jakarta recited Mawlid Diba’i together accompanied by rebana (Tambourine that is used in Islamic devotional music in Southeast Asia). The event was then closed by the cutting of tumpeng and prayer recital.  (ika p/umar)
