UIN Jakarta Continues to Encourage the Outstanding Students

Auditorium, UIN NEWS Online – UIN Jakarta continues to encourage its high achieving students, both in academic and non-academic aspects. This was done so that the graduate of UIN Jakarta has scientific integrity in addition to the expertise and skills (soft skills).

“These achievements are according to the four student affairs programs which now applied in UIN Jakarta, namely the development of character, scientific development, progress in society, and concern for the community, "said Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof Dr Yusron Razak when opening a series of discussions about Islam and nationality in Auditorium Harun Nasution, on Monday (27/3/2017).

According to Yusron, outstanding students will give an image and positive impact on the progress of UIN Jakarta. Because of that he hoped the students can build and develop themselves according to their individual capacity.

For outstanding students, continued Yusron, UIN Jakarta always gives annual awards through the Student Achievement Award (SAA). This program is considered positive that the students are always encouraged to continue to achieve more.  Even more importantly, to motivate other to be outstanding.

“We have had many achievements of students who achieved both at national and international levels, both individually or in groups," said Yusron.

Meanwhile, related to Islamic and nationalism discussions to be held in series, Yusron said the activity is part of an effort to provide guidance to students, especially the scholarship awardee.

“The program is held on a regular basis. The purpose is to make the students have an Islamic outlook and widespread nationalism of the Republic of Indonesia," he said. (usa)
