UIN Jakarta Commemorating the Ministry of Religious Affairs Amal Bhakti Day

al-Jami’ah Mosque, UIN News Online –  Civitas academica of UIN Jakarta held a Dhikr and mass prayers to commemorate the 71th Ministry of Religious Affairs Amal Bhakti Day at Al-Jami’ah Mosque UIN Jakarta on Tuesday, (1/3)

The events begin with Duha congregational prayer, led by the head of Ma’had al-Jami’ah UIN Jakarta Dr KH Akhmad Sodiq MA, continued by the recitation of holy quran and ends with Yasin, tahlil and mass prayers.

Before the Dhikr and mass prayers, Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada had the opportunity to convey the message of the Minister of Religious Affairs of Indonesia Lukman Hakim Saifuddin. In his remarks, Dede explained that the establishment of the Ministry of Religious Affairs is an important historical event for The Republic of Indonesia as a nationalist and religious country.

“71 years ago, upon the recommendation from the Central Indonesian National Committee, the government established the Ministry of Religious Affairs and inaugurated the first Minister of Religious Affairs Haji Mohammad Rasjidi,” said dede in front of the audience.

In line with the theme of the 71th Amal Bhakti Day which is “Bersih Melayani” and “Lebih Dekat Melayani Umat,” motto, he continued,it was expected that the employee of UIN Jakarta to strengthen their commitment, integrity and work ethics as a servant of the Ummah.

“The basic principle is a fast, precise, accurate, inexpensive and enjoyable services, so the services for the Ummah will be heading to better direction,” said Dede.

At the end of his speech, Dede hoped that UIN Jakarta quality of service on 2017 to be better than the last year.

Meanwhile, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation from the Faculty of Syari’ah and Law (FSH) UIN Jakarta Dr Yayan Sopyan, M.Ag positively appreciated this event.

“This activity is a tradition that should be continue to be preserved every year in UIN Jakarta,” he said. (usa)
