UIN Jakarta and the Ministry of Industry Ready to Collaborate to Develop Business Incubator

Main Auditorium, UIN NewsOnline – UIN Jakarta ready to collaborate with the Ministry of Industry and young entrepreneur to develop business incubator. It was intended to increase the capacity of industrial human resource that has the skills and competence for innovation.

It was said by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada while giving a speech in stadium general entitled “Arah Kebijakan Industri Nasional” which organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta in the Main Auditorium, Friday, (9/23).

“We can do collaborative research on business incubator; this is to encourage the FEB students to apply their knowledge of Business in real life,” he said.

In response, the Minister of Industry of Republic Indonesia H Airlangga Hartarto MBA MMT welcomed the plan to do collaborative research on business incubator with UIN Jakarta. He also hoped in addition to becoming Research University; UIN Jakarta can be the Entrepreneurial University to produce young and talented entrepreneurs.

“The challenge for universities in Indonesia is to equip the students with the scientific discovery abilities, engineering development, managerial and entrepreneurship skills to contribute in the industrial sectors.” He said.

For information, according to the National Business Incubator Association (NBIA), an incubator is a business support process that accelerates the successful development of startup and fledgling companies by providing entrepreneurs with an array of targeted resources and services. These programs exist to help improve the odds of success for new companies/startups. (ika p/umar)
