UIN Jakarta and South Tangerang Government Cooperate to Develop Entrepreneurship

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online - Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Jakarta established cooperation with South Tangerang (Tangsel) government, with a theme entitled “Pengembangan Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa Tangsel yang Inovatif dan Kreatif Berbasis Teknologi†in Prof Dr Harun Nasution Main Auditorium, Monday, (10/17).
The event was attended by South Tangerang Mayor Hj Airin Rachmi Diany MH and the officials from the Small and Medium Cooperative Enterprises was held in order to grow and develop the entrepreneurial spirit among students of UIN Jakarta.
Also present on the occasion, Vice Rector of Student Affairs Prof Dr Yusran Razak MA, Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) Prof DR Arskal Salim GP MA, Head of Center for Community Service Djaka Badranaya S.Ag ME, and several invited guests.
In her opening speech, the South Tangerang Mayor Hj Airin Rachmi Diany MH said that the South Tangerang Government is ready to cooperate with UIN Jakarta, especially in the field of Small and Medium Cooperative Enterprises.
“We will follow up this cooperation through training activities to the entrepreneur candidates. We will also provide access to capital for small and medium business.†Said Airin.
In the same place, head of Center for Community Service (PPM) UIN Jakarta Djaka Badranaya S.Ag ME said this activity aims to optimize the demographic bonus in Indonesia, especially in South Tangerang to improve the business opportunity.
“It requires strong wills and talent to be an entrepreneur, and UIN Jakarta is currently prepare its students in facing the economic demographic bonus in economics.†He said. (sf/lrf/ika p/umar)
