UIN Hospital Held 10th Anniversary

Hospital Hall, UIN NEWS Online - Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital of UIN Jakarta celebrates its tenth anniversary. The anniversary celebration this time, picked the theme ‘Mental and Spiritual Improvement of Sharif Hidayatullah Jakarta Hospital Worker’ which was conducted in the 5th floor of Hospital Hall on Friday (21/04).

Present in the tasyakuan event, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof. Dr. Dede Rosyada MA, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr Fadhilah Suralaga MSi, Vice Rector for Cooperation Prof Dr Murodi MA, Head of General Administration and Personnel Bureau (AUK) Dr H Rudi Subiyantoro MPd, Director of Syarif Hidayatullah hospital Dr. Ismet Alimin, doctors, and all employees of Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital of UIN Jakarta.

Ismet Alimin, as the Director, while giving his speech at the beginning of the event, said that at the age of ten this year, the hospital has made lots of progress. This was supported evidently by the increasing quality of services, facilities and infrastructures that exist today.

"However, to be an accredited hospital and to accept BPJS patients, of course there are still shortages in few parts. Which are lacks of room for inpatients, beds, and lack of health personnel, "said Ismet who get applauses by the attendees.

He also thanked to UIN Jakarta leaders for their appreciation which had given for the advancement of the Hospital.

Responding to that, the rector said that he currently is working on that that the hospital within the next year be able to accept patients with BPJS.

"By the year of 2019 later, we will be working continuously on BPJS patients, so they can get health treatment by this hospital.  Thus, of course, can only be achieved if the requirements fulfilled by the hospital. That is by adding the facilities and infrastructure of this hospital, "said the rector.

In addition, the rector said that to be an advanced hospital from every side, a good hospital should apply two things. The two things are Zero Defact and Hospitality. Zero Defact is intended to minimize the things which will hamper comfort through the hospital. "In order to create zero defact, it requires accuracy and diligence from every medical personnel in this hospital," he explained.

The meaning of hospitality, according to Dede, is how the service in this hospital is able to provide colorful comportment differently; the difference can be seen from the way patients treated. Thus, the patient will feel comfortable and it will reflect to patients’ inner capacity which it is able to speed up the healing process.

"As a hospital under the Islamic universities name, the medical workers should be able to provide input and generate patient inner capacity, by applying Islamic religious values ​​that are obtainable in al-Qur'an," said Professor of educational methodology.

For information, at the 10th anniversary, the management of UIN Jakarta hospital grant umrah to two hospital employees who have served for more than 20 years. Furthermore, the discipline of employees was also as a prerequisite assessment for the grant. (usa-im)
