To Realize Tri Dharma, FAH Student Council held Social Services

Parung, UIN News Online – Faculty of Adab and Humanities student council of UIN Jakarta held the social and community service. The activity entitled Aksi Peduli Mahasiswa Satu Teladan Seribu Pesan held in connection with the self application as well as the realization of Tri Dharma of university.
The social events were held for three days starting on Friday until Sunday, (11/04-06), taking place at Nagrog village, Parung, Monday (11/7).
Social activities performed consists of several activities, including teaching the al-Qur’an in the mosque, and teaching in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Nagrog, groceries and wearable clothes donations. The committee also held entertainment that is "nonton bareng" (watching movie together) some educational movies with the local community.
It was said by the deputy leader of Faculty of Adab and Humanities student council UIN Jakarta Athfan to UIN News Online in the location.
He also added,†Another purpose of this activity is to produce human resources that uphold social values based on Tri Dharma of university (Education, Research, and Community Service specifically to the FAH students.†He said.
At the same place, Asep, the local resident of Nagrog told UIN News Online, that he and the community in general, highly appreciated this social activity, he also hope that this event will continue to be sustainable.
“Today, it’s a quite rare that the students want to come down and take the initiatives to help the community and hold social event like this, especially to live with the community.†He said. (sf/lrf/ika p/umar)
