The Governor of West Java will Attend the Ied al Fitr Celebration in UIN Jakarta
Rectorate, UIN NEWS Online–The Governor of West Java, Dr. (H.C.) H. Ahmad Heryawan Lc, M.Si is scheduled to deliver a public lecture in the event of Ied al Fitr celebration in Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN Jakarta, Friday (7/15). The Celebration itself is scheduled to take place in 08.30 to 11.30 WIB.
The Sub-division Head of Documentary and Publication, Feni Ariafiani, SH., MH told UIN News Online on Wednesday (7/13) that the activities itself routinely carried out by the big family of UIN Jakarta after celebrating Eid al Fitr. In this event, UIN Jakarta Invites the Governor of West Java, Ahmad heryawan to deliver a public lecture.
“The presence of Kang Aher (Ahmad Heryawan –red) at this event also aimed to strengthen the cooperation between UIN Jakarta and The West Java Provincial Government that has been build closely over the years,†he said.
Ahmad Heryawan, who was born on June 19th 1966 at Sukabumi, became the governor of West Java on 2008. In educational sector, he managed to get five Anugerah Pangripta Nusantara awards. He is also known as the first governor who allocate 20% of regional funds budget for the education in West Java. (yk/njs/Umar Syarif Audah)
