The Governor of Banten hopes KKN UIN Jakarta to Reach Banten Area

Auditorium Harun Nasution, BERITA UIN Online-- Rano Karno, The Governor of Banten province, to be in favor about KKN (community service) UIN Jakarta 2016 will be held in two regencies of Banten province namely Tangerang and South Tangerang.

In the future, Rano hopes that KKN UIN jakarta will reach all the regencies in Banten province. Rano Karno has delivered his speech during Public Lecture and KKN Preparation 2016 in Auditorium of Harun Nasution on Saturday, April 16th.

Banten, which is relatively a new province need more participation from different institutions to develop the region. “Community service is expected to develop people of banten province” he said.

There are 2753 students of UIN Jakarta ready to carry out community service in 2016. They will reach several rural areas in regency of Bogor, West Java and regency of Tangerang and city of South Tangerang, Banten. This agenda will be held next August.

Djaka badrayana, head of center for community service, said that 2753 students will live in area where the society need them. To be exact, 130 groups will live in Bogor, 100 groups in Tangerang and 20 groups in South Tangerang. (Translated by Ihsan/Yaqin)
