The 104th Graduation Ceremony Rehearsal held at Main Auditorium

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta held a rehearsal for the 104th inauguration ceremony for 922 graduates from all faculties and graduate school (SPs) of UIN Jakarta, Thursday (5/18) at Harun Nasution Main Auditorium, Campus I UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No. 95, Ciputat, South Tangerang.

The rehearsal is led by the Head of Academic Administration and Cooperation (BAAKK) Drs. H. Zaenal Arifin, M.Pd.I, Head of Academic Affairs Division Ir. Yarsi Berlianti, Subdivision Head of Documentary and Publication Feni Ariafiani, SH., MH, documentary and publication staff Eva Nauli Aprila Sm.HK and others.

The rehearsal was held to provide guidance and simulation for the graduate candidates. “The graduation ceremony will be divided into two sessions, on Saturday and Sunday. The rehearsals are held to keep things running smoothly,” said Zainal.

For Saturday (May 20th), graduation ceremony will be held for the graduates from the Faculty of Literature and Humanities (73 graduates), Faculty of Theology (36 graduates), Faculty of Da’wa and Communication (94 graduates), Faculty of Psychology (45 students), Faculty of Economics and Business (121 graduates), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (57 graduates), and 38 graduates from UIN Jakarta graduate school (SPs).

On Sunday (May 21st), the faculty of Educational Sciences (239 graduates), Faculty of Sharia and Law (47 graduates), Faculty of Islamic Studies (18 graduates), Faculty of Sciences and Technology (104 graduates) and Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (50 graduates).

Technically, the 104th graduation ceremony is not much different from the previous graduation, which held only for a day. This is because the number of graduates reached 922 people, not including parents or the guardian of students, then it decided to split the event for two days. “The ceremony is divided into Saturday and Sunday sessions in order to maintain the ceremonial quality and to provide excellent service for the graduates and the family.” added Zainal.
