SMAN 5 Cilegon Students Visit UIN Jakarta

Diorama Room, UIN News Online – As many as 150 students from SMAN 5 Cilegon, Banten, visit UIN Jakarta. The group, led by Deputy Chief of Students Affairs Muhtar SE MM was welcomed by the Head of Academic Affairs Division of UIN Jakarta Ir. Yarsi Berlianti, Subdivision Head of Academic Services Dra. Nuriyah Thahir, MM, and Subdivision Head of Documentary and Publication Feni Ariafiani, SH., MH.

Muchtar explained, this activity was held to do a scientific study to the various universities in Jakarta, Bogor, and Bandung. It aims to provide the knowledge and information to the students about the universities, especially the state universities.

“This activity is also to motivate them to pursue the higher education level after they finish the high school,” he said.

During their visit, the students get all information about UIN Jakarta, such as the faculties and departments, admission and mechanisms, tuition, scholarships, dormitories and other facilities as a learning support instrument. They were also given the opportunity to ask in order to get more detail information.

After two hours of dialogue, they held a photo session and souvenir exchanges with the officials of UIN Jakarta in Diorama room. (usa)
