SBMPTN, 966 Participants Accepted at UIN Jakarta

Rectorate Building, UIN NEWS Online - The result of new admissions selection from candidate Joint Entrance Selection of State Universities (SBMPTN) announced on Tuesday (13/6/2017) set as many as 148,066 participants or about 14.36 percent of 797,738 SBMPTN 2017 applicants have passed and declared as new student at 85 State Universities. From the total of 148,066 new students, UIN Jakarta accepted 966 new students in 25 courses being offered.

Among 25 courses being offered, the highest acceptance for new students was in the Psychology Study Program that consists of 72 new students. The lowest acceptance is in the Mining Study Program with a total of 17 new students. The admissions for other courses of study were in the range between 30-50 new students.

UIN Jakarta Press Release of Public Relation on Wednesday (14/6/2017), said the complete details of participants who passed in 25 study programs were Agribusiness with 52 students, Informatics Engineering (35 students), Information System (42 students) Mathematics (28 students), Biology (35 students), Chemistry (35 students), Physics (35 students), Public Health (44 students), Pharmacy (38 students), Nursing (36 students), Doctor Education (37 students) , Mathematics Education (28 students), Chemistry Education (24 students), Mining (17 students), Accounting (43 students), Economics and Development Studies (42 students), International Relations 42 students, Law (42 students) Library Science (56 students), Management (43 students), Political Science (28 students), Social Welfare (28 students), Psychology (72 students), Sociology (28 students), and English Language and Literature (56 students).

Meanwhile, Head of Publications and Documentation Division Feni Arifiani MH said, the newly graduated students are required to immediately re-register via online at ukt.uinjktac.id and spmb.uinjkt.ac.id. The re-register process is important because if they are not re-registering on schedule, they are considered resigned.

The re-register process begins with self-submission and uploads all required documents on 13-16 July 2017. New students then can pay their tuition fees through a single tuition scheme (UKT) under the UKT grouping at one of designated banks on July 4-13, 2017, then conduct medical tests at the same time.

"If the re-registration process has completed, all students must follow campus orientation activities in order to get to know well their institutional environment and their study program which held on 22-26 August 2017 while their class will begin on September 4, 2017," said Feni. (usa)
