Registration for Sandwich Program to WSU Australia Is Now Open

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta through the Center for International Cooperation (CIC) open Sandwich Program for three semesters at Western Sydney University (WSU) in 2017.

“After the successful implementation of Sandwich Program on 2015 and 2016 at WSU, UIN Jakarta-WSU once again will re-open the program for 2017,” said the head of CIC Rachmat Baihaky in his office, Wednesday, (12/30).

All faculties in UIN Jakarta, he continued, can involve its students to participate in this program. He mentioned, this program only applicable for the third, fifth and seventh-semester students.

“They will be studying there for a semester of four, six and eight. Once finished, they will continue their fifth, seventh and ninth-semester in UIN Jakarta,” said Baihaky.

Moreover, they also must meet the standards of a TOEFL score of 600; it applies to all faculty curriculum that has been synchronized (especially with UIN Jakarta), except the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah.

He also added that the candidates who pass the selection wouldn't be charged with anything, all the fees will be covered by the university.

“For candidates who failed the selection test, may join the program at their expenses, and need to meet the standards of a TOEFL score of 600,” he added.

One of the benefits of this program is the guarantee to continue to Masters Degree at WSU after they graduate from UIN Jakarta.
