Rector Watches the Implementation of SBMPTN

UIN Jakarta Campus, UIN NEWS Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada , accompanied by Head of Academic Administration and Cooperation (AAKK) Drs Zaenal Arifin MPdI, Tuesday (5/17), watches the implementation of public college entrance exam written test which organized through Joint Selection of State Universities (SBMPTN) at UIN Jakarta Campus. The visited locations are Faculty of Educational Sciences (FITK) and Center of Integrated Laboratories (PLT).

The Rector’s visitation to FITK is to see the test using model Paper Base Test (PBT). Whereas the visitation to PLT is to see Computer Base Test (CBT) tests implementation which is concentrated in the 6th floor of the building.

The Rector on the occasion conveyed his thanks to the committee and the supervisors who helped the implementation of national SBMPTN in UIN Jakarta. The rector even praised and hoped that the CBT exam system will proceed smoothly.

“I hope there will be no power outage, so the exam will proceed as planned,” he said.

Implementation SBMPTN held simultaneously throughout Indonesia and followed by 797,023 participants. They are competing for 128,085 available seats in 85 state universities. The test is held on the campus of PTN / PTS and a number of public schools. The SBMPTN written exams cover the fields of science and technology (Saintek), social humanities (Soshum), and mixes of both fields.

At UIN Jakarta, the implementation of SBMPTN written exams in Social humanities field, participated by 7.530 participants, which consists of 7.200 PBT participants and 330 CBT participants. The exam is held in every faculty, both in campus 1 and campus 2. The implementation of the exam involve at least 700 supervisors consist of student and staff. (usa-rs)
