Rector: Don’t Take Leave before Friday
Cangkir Café Building, UIN NEWS Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada stated the official Eid Holiday for the employees applies start from next Friday (23/6/2017). For that reason, the rector asks the employee to not take the leave before friday.
“I hope there is nobody left before 23rd of June, because the official holiday period from the government start next Friday,†he said when he was giving speech on Eid Gift event organized by Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) UIN Jakarta at Cangkir Café building, Monday (19/6/2017).
As reported earlier, President Joko Widodo has set the date of June 23, 2017 as this year’s Eid Leave Period. The addition of joint leave is arranged through Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia (Keppres) Number 18 Year 2017 on Shared Joint 2017. In the Presidential Decree the government establishes 2017 joint leave on 23,27,28,29 and 30 June 2017 or Friday , Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as a day off with Idul Fitri 1438 Hijriah.
Rector said Eid holiday this year is relatively long, for 10 days. Because it will be long holidays and the campus will be quiet, he also asked the employees to clean up the campus area so avoid the nest of mice. "I ask that the campus be cleaned so that not many rats are nesting," he said.
Especially for the employees who will be going home, the Rector expressed his greetings and apologized for not providing the expected service.
“Head of UIN Jakarta congratulated Eid al-Fitr 1438 Hijriyah, and offer our sincerest apology, we also give our greetings to families in their respective homes, "he said. (usa)
