PSGA Will Organize National Scientific Writing Contest (LKTI)

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Center for the Study of Gender and Child (PSGA) UIN Jakarta will organize the National Scientific Writing Contest (LKTI) on gender and child for lecturers, staffs and students. The papers need to be submitted before May 12th and the winner will be announced on July 2nd.

This was conveyed by the head of PSGA UIN Jakarta Ir. Rachmi Purnomowati M.Si while met by UIN News Online in her office, Tuesday, (4/4). “This event is held in order to find contributive ideas regarding with gender issues and child protection,” she said.

This time, PSGA offers 4 sub-themes for this event, among them are, Gender dalam Pengembangan Sains, Teknologi dan Lingkungan; Pengarusutamaaan Gender dalam Humaniora dan Pendidikan; Pencegahan, Perlindungan dan Penanganan Kekerasan Terhadap Anak dan Remaja; and, Peran Gender dalam Ketahanan Keluarga.

To decide the winners, the judges will look on several aspects contained in the articles. Among them are, originality of the ideas, references, writing novelty, analysis and scientific impacts. The other aspects such as the quality systematic of writing, conclusion and the language used in the article will be assessed as well.

Technically, the article that will be contested must be written in 10-15 pages using the enhanced Indonesian spelling system, and must include the bodynote, bibliography. Additionally, the article had to use 200 words of abstract and keywords.

Participants only allowed to send one article, and should be submitted in hard and softcopy formats to PSGA office at Rectorate bulding of UIN Jakarta, Jl Ir H Juanda No 95 Ciputat and psga@uinjkt.ac.id. The best six articles will be published in 'Harkat' publication journal of PSGA. (usa)
