New Doctors Asked to Keep the Reputation

Auditorium, UIN NEWS Online – The new doctors who graduated from Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Jakarta were asked to keep the good reputation of UIN Jakarta on their duty. This is according to the three characteristics of UIN Jakarta’s students and graduates, which is smart, diligent, and well-mannered.

That was conveyed by the Rector Prof Dr Dede Rosyada on his welcoming remarks in the event of The 21st Doctor’s Oath with 64 graduates of Medical Program (PSPD) from FKIK at Auditorium Harun Nasution, Thursday (13/4/2017). “I ask you all (new doctors, Ed) to always keep the good reputation, both as doctor and as UIN Jakarta graduate,” he said.

On the occasion, rector also congratulate the new doctors that had passed the competency exam and to be taken the oath as doctors. The new doctors will get back to the community and work at various hospitals.

“I suggest to the newly graduated doctors to continue the study as specialist according to personal interests,” he said.

According to the Rector, PSPD is a new study program in FKIK UIN Jakarta.  Although it’s relatively new, public’s response is outstanding and continue to increase annually. “Every year, the applicants for FKIK< especially PSPD is up to 12.000 students. So it is very competitive,” he said.

The 21st Doctor’s oath was attended by FKIK Dean Prof Dr Arief Sumantri, representative of Indonesian Doctor Association (IDI) Regional Banten, Representative of Fatmawati Hospital Jakarta, Representative of UIN Jakarta Moslem Doctors Alumni Association, and the parents of the graduates. Also present in the event, Indoenesia’s Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati whose daughter in law was taken the oath. (usa-rs)
