They enthusiastically asked about studying at the University in Jakarta.

Nurjamal and Ikhsan, students of the Madrasah Aliyah (scientific based high school) in Parung and Bogor, admitted to the expo because they want to know more about studying at UIN Jakarta. They allegedly want to continue studying at the Faculty of Economics and Business.

The same reason presented by Evy UNILA and Alysa Princess, students from a high school in South Jakarta. Learning in the Department of Biology is interested in studying at the Medical Education Program FKIK UIN Jakarta. “Hopefully we pass the selection exams,” they said.

Head of UIN Jakarta Education Expo 2016, Drs H MPdI Zaenal Arifin said the exhibition is a series of educational activities of new admissions in 2016. To that end, the exhibition focused on providing information and admissions to the university.

“With the exhibition, the students are expected to get enough information to make choices between all the different faculties when entering at the university,” said the Head of Academic Administration.

On the same occasion, the Rector Prof Dr Dede Rosyada MA hopes to attract many interested students to this expo, it will act as a source of information in determining which faculties they’d hopefully choose at UIN Jakarta. The reason, said Rector, the number of interested students of the university and tuition fees increases each year in Jakarta.

In 2015 for example, the amount of applicants for the selection at UIN Jakarta reached 103 thousand people. This amount reflects the high expectations of students to study in UIN Jakarta. “The education expo is expected to become one of the media applications in order to gain more students enrollment at UIN Jakarta,” he hoped.
