KSE Scholarship Awardees Participate in Leadership Training

Solo, UIN News Online – As many as 11 UIN Jakarta students participate in leadership training in Hotel Lorin, Solo, Central Java. The training lasts for one week, Wednesday-Tuesday (1-7 / 02) and followed by 144 participants. The training is organized by Karya Salemba Empat (KSE) in cooperation with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, attended by participants from 29 universities in Indonesia.

During the training, the participants were given learning materials and practices on how to communicate properly, making a presentation as well as on how to develop the soft skill potential.

Moreover, the participants are also given the challenge to hold a positive fighter (fundraising by means of working). Within three hours, the participants are managed to raise eleven million, and all funds acquired then be distributed directly to the people in need in Klewer market area, Solo.

One of the participant, Reza Afifa, to UIN News Online expressed her sense of pride and grateful to be selected for this training. “In addition to getting a lot of knowledge and experiences, i also can feel the beauty of sharing with others,” she said.

Another participants that is coming from IAIN Bengkulu, Andi Saputra and Devi Triasari from UNS 11 Maret Surakarta, when met by UIN News Online was deeply grateful to participate in the training, they both also give gratitude to KSE and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan as the initiator of this activity. (rs)
